📢 New Self-Service Tools — Now Live in Your Client Area
June 2026 · Shared Hosting Clients
We have added three new self-service tools to your client area, available under the Support menu. These tools are designed to help you resolve common issues instantly — without waiting for a support ticket.
🔓 IP Address Unblock Tool
If your IP address has been blocked by our shared hosting server firewall (CSF/LFD) — typically after too many failed login attempts — you can now unblock it yourself in seconds.
Important: A firewall block only affects you. Your website remains fully online and accessible to all your visitors. Only your specific IP address is restricted from directly accessing the server.
- Enter your IP address (pre-filled automatically)
- Complete the quick human verification
- Your IP is unblocked instantly
- View your full unblock history with timestamps and block reasons
🔒 File Lock / Unlock Manager
Protect your most critical files from being modified, overwritten, or deleted — even by scripts, FTP clients, or malware. This tool applies the Linux chattr +i (immutable) flag at the system level, which is one of the strongest file protections available.
Common uses:
- Lock
wp-config.phpto protect your database credentials - Lock
.htaccessto prevent redirect injections - Lock
index.phpto prevent defacement after a malware cleanup - Unlock a file when you need to make changes, then re-lock it
⚠️ A locked file cannot be edited or overwritten by anyone — including you via FTP or your CMS. Always unlock before making changes, then re-lock when done.
📊 Shared Hosting Server Health Dashboard
Get a live view of the shared hosting server performance — without needing to open a ticket or contact support. The dashboard shows real-time data collected directly from the server.
Metrics displayed:
- Server uptime and CPU load average (1m / 5m / 15m)
- Memory usage — total, in use, cached, and free
- Disk usage for the main disk and backup drive
- Active PHP-FPM worker count
- MySQL database uptime, queries per second, active connections, and slow query count
- cPanel version
ℹ️ These metrics reflect the shared server as a whole — not your individual account. Elevated load may be caused by activity from any account on the server.
